About this role

The VP of APAC Business Development at Kasvu Discovery is a dynamic, revenue-focused leader responsible for spearheading our expansion across the Asia-Pacific region. This role will drive significant revenue growth across critical sectors including pharmaceutical discovery, clinical research, health tech, government, and academia. Based out of our Singapore headquarters, you will own the complete commercial strategy for establishing Kasvu Discovery as the essential bioinformatics infrastructure across the entire health research ecosystem in APAC – from early-stage drug discovery and clinical trials to precision medicine and digital therapeutics. By leveraging deep cross-sector networks and unparalleled platform-thinking expertise, you will ensure Kasvu Discovery captures undeniable market leadership across all health research verticals in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive APAC commercial strategy to achieve aggressive revenue targets • Identify, qualify, and close high-value enterprise deals across pharmaceutical, clinical, health tech, government, and academic sectors • Build and nurture a robust pipeline of opportunities, managing the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure • Forge strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders, research institutions, and industry players to expand market reach and adoption • Represent Kasvu Discovery at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events throughout the APAC region • Provide market intelligence and feedback to product development and marketing teams to inform future strategies • Build and lead a high-performing APAC business development team as the region scales • Ensure deep understanding of customer needs and translate them into compelling value propositions for Kasvu Discovery

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in business development or sales leadership, with a strong track record of exceeding targets in the life sciences, biotech, or health tech sectors within APAC • Deep understanding of the drug discovery, clinical research, or precision medicine landscape • Proven ability to develop and execute complex commercial strategies and close large enterprise deals • Extensive network of contacts across pharmaceutical companies, CROs, academic institutions, and government bodies in the APAC region • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills • Strong leadership capabilities with experience building and managing high-performing teams • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or business field; MBA or advanced scientific degree preferred
